Subcontractor Member of the Year
This award recognizes a Subcontractor-level member company that went above and beyond over the past year. Contributions to industry, ASA, and/or other organizations all factor in!

Safety Recognition Award
This award recognizes an ASA member company whose safety program (and record) are exemplary. They consistently take their commitment to safety to the next level. The winner of this award will also be recognized at the ASA National conference.

INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES
Subcontractor Superintendent of the Year
This award recognizes an exceptional field leader who demonstrates outstanding oversight, coordination, and execution of subcontracted work on construction projects.

Subcontractor Foreman of the Year
This award recognizes an outstanding foreman who demonstrates exceptional leadership, craftsmanship, and dedication in managing crews and delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently.

Craft Professional of the Year
This award honors an exceptional skilled tradesperson who demonstrates outstanding technical expertise, reliability, and pride in their craft while contributing to team success.

Subcontractor Estimator of the Year
This award recognizes an estimator who consistently delivers accurate, competitive, and well-developed project estimates while demonstrating strong collaboration and sound judgment.

Subcontractor Project Manager of the Year
This award honors a project manager who demonstrates exceptional leadership, coordination, and accountability in delivering successful projects from start to finish.

ASA HOUSTON LEADERSHIP AWARDS
The following awards will also be presented each year (determined by Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Committee Chairs):
GC Partner of the Year
This is award is based on participation in ASA (at events, through volunteer efforts, monetary, in-kind, etc.) throughout the past fiscal year.
First Impression Award
This award recognizes an individual within new member company who made an outsized impact in their first year of membership. (The winner of this award will also be recognized at the ASA National conference.)
Recruiter of the Year
This award is based on the number of new members that joined the chapter due to this individual’s efforts during the past fiscal year. (The winner of this award will also be recognized at the ASA National conference.)
Extraordinary Young Leader Award
This award recognizes an individual within an ASA member company whose leadership contributions throughout the ASA and/or within the local construction industry stand out as extraordinary. (The winner of this award will also be recognized at the ASA National conference.
Above & Beyond Award
This award recognizes an individual within an ASA member company whose efforts this past year went above and beyond traditional volunteer efforts including contribution of time, money, expertise, physical labor, etc. to the ASA and/or a worthy cause. (The winner of this award will also be recognized at the ASA National conference.)
Mentor Award
This award recognizes an individual within an ASA member company who focuses on workforce development, bringing new people into the construction trades and/or new members into ASA. (The winner of this award will also be recognized at the ASA National conference.)
