In conjunction with OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down week May 8-12, 2017, ASA-HC encouraged all members to do safety stand-downs on their jobsites and in their offices. A Safety Stand-Down is a voluntary event for employers to talk directly to employees about “Fall Hazards” and to reinforce the importance of “Fall Prevention.” The purpose of OSHA’s National Fall Prevention Stand-Down is to raise awareness of preventing fall hazards in construction.
Reported: 12,017 individuals from 34 ASA-HC member companies reported participating in Safety Stand-Downs across the city during OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down week May 8-12, 2017.
