It is with great sadness that MAREK announces the passing of Ralph S. Marek. Ralph passed away Saturday, April 25, at the age of 95. Those who knew Ralph were fortunate to experience his kindness and considerate nature, and his genuine concern for everyone — especially those in need.

Ralph was an extraordinarily smart man, and a true self-made businessman. Through his 82-year partnership with his brothers, he built a great legacy for others to follow. Ralph fostered a long-term commitment to always do the right thing, and that commitment extended beyond his family and friends. It encompassed his employees, clients and suppliers, as well. A man of strong faith, Ralph was always ready with a kind word, an open heart and a willingness to help, making him a pillar for those in need.

The company that Ralph and his brothers built so long ago still represents and practices the same principles that Ralph himself embodied. Ralph was loved deeply by his family, friends and employees, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Given the limitations of the pandemic, there will be no public service. However, a celebration of Ralph’s life will be planned for a time when the community can gather again.
