ASA Launches New, More User-Friendly National Web Site

On Jan. 8, ASA launched its new, simplified, and more user-friendly Web site, www.asaonline.com, a day earlier than expected! We hope you will find the new site much easier to navigate and access all the information and resources you need. You may need to clear your Web browser history and cache.

Getting Around
Clicking on the ASA logo in the upper left-hand corner of the site will always take you back to the homepage. ASA’s social media sites are linked at the top of the page, along with a search field to find other members. The new site now prominently displays three rotating sections, SUBExcel 2019, Advocacy, and our Chapter Network. Below these images, you’ll find links to “Join,” “Resources,” “Events,” “News,” and “Sponsors.” The “Mark Your Calendar” section includes five upcoming events, along with a link to “View all events.” And, at the bottom, you’ll find our Platinum, Gold, and Silver national sponsors with links to their Web sites.

Back to the top of the page, in the Index, you’ll find “Join,” “Chapter Network,” “Advocacy,” “Member Resources,” “Events,” and “About ASA.”

Join
Under Join, you can read about key national “Benefits” of your membership, and “Join Online.”

Chapter Network
On the Chapter Network page, you’ll find a U.S. map to easily locate ASA chapters by state. States in which there are no ASA chapters link to ASA landing pages where subcontractors and specialty trade contractors can learn about ASA and join our association as members at-large.

Advocacy
Under Advocacy, you can donate to ASA funds, respond to a legislative call to action (if there are any), review ASA’s policies on a number of subcontractor-related issues, and access the Subcontractors Legal Defense Fund, the ASA-Political Action Committee (ASA-PAC), and ConsensusDocs.

Member Resources
Here you will find the Member Login button to log-in to your Info Hub—the new members-only section of the ASA Web site. There is also a quick link at the top of the homepage to log-in. Before you log-in, you’ll need to Create an Account. See related story about the new Info Hub below for details.

Events
Under Events, you’ll find information about ASA’s monthly education webinars and a link to the Events Calendar, as well as a link to our annual national convention, SUBExcel 2019, which will take place March 6-9, 2019, in Nashville.

About ASA
Under About ASA, you will find a link to the new Member Directory, the Board of Directors, staff contacts, information about all ASA awards programs, the Foundation of ASA (FASA), and our Mission and Vision, including our Bylaws.

If you have any problems navigating the new Web site, or creating your new Info Hub account—see details below—or have any questions, please contact Marc Ramsey, director of communications, at mramsey@asa-hq.com.
