At ASA’s national convention SUBExcel held in Las Vegas Mar. 4-6, ASA-HC won the Innovation award for our No Pants PAC Party fundraising campaign AND our She Builds It Women’s Peer Group initiative. To be recognized in front of members and chapter staff from all over the United States was a huge honor. No other chapter has won the Innovation award for multiple programs in the same year – a testament to our members and our chapter!

What is the Innovation Award?
Some ASA chapters and state organizations are content to rely on “tried and true” programs and services, while others seek to “break the mold” and try new and different initiatives. ASA’s Innovation Award is targeted at the latter group—the chapters and state organizations that have developed creative or innovative programs and services that benefit their members.
