On Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, the American Subcontractors Association of Central Arkansas rolled into Houston with a truck load of Harvey relief supplies donated by the Central Arkansas chapter members. Ladders, wheelbarrows, paper towels, hand tools, bleach, Clorox wipes, trash bags, batteries, water and more. ASA of Central Arkansas chapter President Blake Finnell, CertaPro Painters, and Adam Bingham, ACE Glass delivered the truckload to Gallery Furniture in Richmond where the supplies would be distributed to Houston area residents affected by Harvey. ASA-Houston Chapter President Ron LaRicci, Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd., and chapter Executive Director Brianna Wright were on-hand to thank them in person for the generosity shown by Houston's ASA family in Central Arkansas. This act of kindness goes to show that being a part of ASA is much more than education and networking . . . it’s about being a part of a nationwide construction family.
