On June 3, 90 teams competed in the 20th Annual AIA Sandcastle Competition on East Beach in Galveston Island. ASA participated in the event again this year as a sponsor. ASA turned the sponsor tent into a Fiesta on the Beach for ASA members and their guests. 236 individuals representing more than 55 firms visited the tent including members of ASA, general contractors and architects participating in the competition.
